Along Ali'i

Both kids had arrived in Kona, by 10:00 p.m. Friday night.  The first thing hubby wanted to do Saturday morning was to take the kids for their first scuba experience.  I chose to forgo it and spent the morning wandering along the south end of the very colourful Ali'i Drive, just steps from our rental. I walked about a mile and half before I turned around and headed back, drenched is sweat, but thoroughly enjoying the scenery.

Here are some morning highlights

The kids get their first scuba lesson.

The bumble bees are entirely black, no fuzzy yellow stripes.

Can't decide if you want to surf or stand up paddle board?  Do both!
