Pocketful of Memory Cards

Today I'm feeling very stressed and very blessed.  The things that are stressing me these days are things that will change and get better and I'm very thankful for that.  The blessings I have received are numerous.  There are so many things we have to be thankful for if we just stop and think about it - friends, family, health, beautiful surroundings, love, music, art, food, shelter, the list really is endless.   Today I'm grateful: ..for sunflowers.  They are just so beautiful and cheerful.  We planted one in our back garden a few years ago.  This year we have four - which doesn't sound like much but they are extremely prolific in their flower production.  ...for the rain.   It's been raining for a few hours now and I'd be happy if it lasted all day. Drove to Peachland this morning with some friends to go to the craft sale at the Community Centre.  Bought a few neat things and had a delicious and filling bowl of goulash for lunch at the Gasthaus .  Came home with some stocking stuffers and a present or two, including one for myself.   It's a twist on the  Christmas glass blocks  that I've seen.  I have some beautiful ones made by my Aunts.  Thought I'd share this photo and give you some ideas for decorating glass bottles.   It makes a cute little night light and you can decorate them in Christmas mode or to match your room decor. My photo of the day has been turning into a montage of  the day as I seem to be running into difficulty picking only one picture, but I am having fun messing with this Nikon D200 , so hope you will bear with me.    This morning Pitou joined my friend Donna and me on a road trip.  We headed down to Peachland for a coffee at the very popular Bliss Bakery  and a walk along Beach Avenue.  It's worth the drive to Acton! (inside joke for you Southern Ontarians). "Yes, I know we're not using the crosswalk...do as I say, not as I do." Man that's coffee!
